J kumar Infra awarded Rs 168 crore civil contract for Navi Mumbai Metro Project

Mumbai, India (Metro Rail Today): J Kumar Infraprojects has received Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha- Metro) for the remaining work Navi Mumbai Metro Rail Project for the work as under.

J Kumar Infraproject said, “the work is to Design (part) and construction of balance works of Concrete & Fabricated Steel Structures, Architectural works, Plumbing and Sewerage etc. of Six Nos. of Elevated Metro Stations at Kharghar Village, Kendriya Vihar, Utsav chowk, Belpada, RBI Colony & Belapur Terminal Station for Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1. (On behalf of CIDCO) amounting to Rs 168.22cr.” The stock ended at Rs 180.10 down by Rs 2.3 or 1.26% from its previous closing of Rs 182.40 on the BSE.

The net profit jumped 477.50% to Rs 41.06cr in the quarter ended September 2021 as against Rs 7.11crore during the previous quarter ended September 2020.The sales also rose 61.71% to Rs 771.98cr in the quarter ended September 2021 as against Rs 477.39cr during the previous quarter ended September 2020.

The tender was issued on April 5, 2021 with the name NM1-C-01/2021. The estimated contract value is Rs 103.65 crore and the Bid security money is Rs 52 lakhs. In January 2021, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) appointed Maha Metro to complete the remaining work of Phase 1 of Navi Mumbai Metro which has delayed due to multiple reasons.
