Kernexmicro Systems bags contract worth ₹2,041 crore to install Kavach for Indian Railways

The contract encompasses the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 2,500 sets of the Kavach equipment across the railway network, with a completion deadline set for 12 months.

Kavach, an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, is designed to prevent train accidents and significantly enhance the safety of operations on Indian Railways. Developed with the latest technology, Kavach continuously monitors the speed of the train and intervenes automatically if the train’s driver (loco pilot) fails to respond to critical safety signals.
