New Delhi, India (Metro Rail Today): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) has opened the financial bids for the civil contract package (CC-141R) on May 25, 2022, for the expansion work of existing metro depots to fulfill the requirement of Phase 4 trains.
As per the financial bid result shared by DMRC, Quality Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidder by beating the other four civil contractors.
The scope of work under this contract package includes Design, Fabrication, Supply, and Erection of Pre-Engineered Steel Structures and Roofing for expansion of Workshop/other buildings at Shastri Park and Najafgarh Depots of Delhi Metro's Phase-III Project.
The financial positions of each bidder are as under:-
Shastri Park Depot presently feeds trains for the Delhi Metro's first metro corridor (Red Line) which connect Delhi to Ghaziabad (Rithala to Shahid Sthal) while Najafgarh depot feeds two metro corridors (Blue & Gray Lines).
Now all bids have been sent for final evaluation by the tender committee.
The tender notice for this contract package was issued in December 2021 with an estimated cost of Rs 14.16 crore and a 9-month completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in February 2022 where a total of 13 bidders were revealed.
