Paras RailTech bags Ballastless track contract for Line 7 Extn of Delhi Metro Phase 4

New Delhi, India (Metro Rail Today): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) has issued a letter of acceptance (LoA)/contract award worth Rs 67.67 crore (Rs 67,67,14,736.59) to Paras Railtech Pvt. Ltd. for Installation, testing, and commissioning of ballastless track including supply of fastening system, buffer stop, and others for Line-7 ext (Maujpur-Majlis Park) (CH. 0.0M to CH. 12098.520 M) of Delhi Metro Rail Project of Phase-IV on 16th November 2022.

Tender notice for supply of blastless track was issued in May 2022 with 730 days completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in July where three bidders namely Paras Railtech, Apurvakriti Infrastructure and Rahee Infratech submitted their bids for this contract. Finnacial bids were opened on 1st November 2022. 

The 12.375 km extension of Delhi Metro's Line 7 (Pink Line) includes construction of viaduct, bridge over the Yamuna River, a PWD double-decker flyover and 8 stations at Yamuna Vihar, Bhajanpura, Khajuri Khas, Sonia Vihar, Wazirabad Surghat, Jagatpur Village, Jharoda Majra and Burari.
