Bhopal, India (Metro Rail Today): Madhya Pradersh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MPMRCL) has opened the financial bids for the Head Hardened Rails supply contract package for Bhopal and Indore Metro Rail Projects last month.
As per the information shared, Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) emerged as the only qualified and lowest bidder by beating japanese firm Mitsui & Co. Ltd. The financial position of the each bidder is as under:-
Mitsui & Co. Ltd did nit qualify the conditions of the contract hence their financial bids were not opened.
Tender notice for Supply of Head Hardened Rails 18 m long UIC 60 60E1 profile IRST 12 2009 1080 Grade HH Class A 8120MT for Bhopal and 8425MT for Indore for Bhopal Metro Rail Project and Indore Metro Rail Project was issued in February 2022 with 1022 days completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in July 2022.
Now all bids have been sent for final evaluation.
Acoording to the tender documents, MPMRCL will require 8,120 MT and 8425 MT Head Hardened Rails for Bhopal and Indore Metro Rail Project respectively.
