Noida, India (Metro Rail Today): Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (NMRCL) has opened the financial bids for the Detailed Design Consultancy (DDC) contract package for providing consultancy services for the 25 kV Overhead Equipment (OHE) system of Noida Metro's Aqua Line Extension in last month.
As per the information shared, Gurugram-based consultancy firm Leap Infraasys Private Limited (LIPL) emerged as the lowest bidder by beating Secunderabad-based firm Balaji Railroad Systems Ltd (BARSYL). The financial position of the each bidder is as under:-
Tender notice for the Detailed Design Consultancy (DDC) for Design of 25 kV Overhead Equipment (OHE) system and Power Supply – SCADA for Elevated Line of Aqua line extension Corridor of Noida Metro Rail Project was issued in May 2022 with an estimated cost of work Rs 43.78 lakh and a 910 day completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in June 2022.
Now all bids have been sent for final evaluation.
The 14.95 kilometres long Noida Metro Extension Line will connect Noida Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V with 9 elevated stations at Sector 122, Sector 123, Sector 4, Ecotech 12, Sector 2, Sector 3, Sector 10, Sector 12 and Knowledge Park V. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 2,682 crores.
