Lucknow, India (Metro Rail Today): Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) today opened the financial bids of a joint tender for the selection of detailed design consultants (DDC) for the second corridors of Kanpur Metro and Agra Metro Rail Projects.
As per the financial bid results, french consultancy firm Systra MVA-led JV emerged as the lowest bidder among the other two bidders.
The scope of work includes providing Detailed Design Consultancy (DDC) services for Civil, Architectural and E&M Work for (a) Corridor-2 (CSA University - Jarauli) of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project and (b) Corridor-2 (Agra Cantt. - Kalindi Vihar) of Agra Metro Rail Project. The DDC provides support for producing and proposing alternate designs for all civil, architectural, building services, electrical and mechanical works.
Tender notice for the above work was issued in November 2021 with an estimated cost of Rs 35.57 crore and a work completion deadline of 1460 days. Technical bids were opened in February 2022.
