Mumbai, India (Metro Rail Today): The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has recently opened financial bids of the contract package CA-161 for supply and installation of ballastless tracks on Mumbai Metro Line 4 & 4A connecting Wadala – Kasarvadavali – Gaimukh through 34 elevated stations.
As per the information shared, Delhi-based Apurvakriti Infrastructure Private Limited emerged as lowest bidder among other four bidders. The financial position of each bidder is as under:-
The scope of work under this contract package includes Design, Construction, Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ballastless Trackwork in Mainline from Mulund Fire Station Ch. 18929.611 M to Gaimukh Ch. 34702.272 M including Siding Tracks of Gaimukh Station of Line 4 & 4A of Mumbai Metro Rail Project.
Tender notice for this contract package was issued in January 2023 with 24 months completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in March 2023. Now all bids have been sent for final evaluation.
