Mumbai, India (Metro Rail Today): The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has issued tender notices for the construction of 20.75 km metro corridor (Mumbai Metro Line 12) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project in Mumbai on 3rd March 2023.
The tender notices are invited in two packages as given below:
Brief Scope: Part design and construction of elevated viaduct (chainage -13.383 m to +10043.275 m) and 9 elevated stations viz. Ganesh Nagar, Pisavali Gaon, Golvali, Dombivli MIDC, Sagaon, Sonarpada, Manpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon of Line 12 [Kalyan-Taloja] of Mumbai Metro Rail Project
Brief Scope: Part design and construction of elevated viaduct (chainage +10043.275 m to +20400 m) and 08 elevated stations viz. Nilje Gaon, Vadavli (Khu), Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot, Pisarve, Taloja including connecting line to depot from main line (chainage 0+000 [main line reference chainage 12+543] to 1+393) from Vadavli (Khu) to Depot of Line 12 (Kalyan – Taloja) of Mumbai Metro Rail project.
The 20.75 kilometres long Mumbai Metro Line 12 (Kalyan – Dombivali – Taloja) will have a total of 17 elevated metro stations at Ganesh Nagar, Pisvali Gaon, Golavali, Dombivli MIDC, Sagaon, Sonarpada, Manpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon, Nilaje Gaon, Vadavali, Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot, Pisarve and Taloja.
In December 2022, MMRDA has appointed a consortium of SYSTRA MVA Consulting and DB Engineering & Consulting as General Consultant (GC) for providing general engineering consultancy services for Line 10 & Line-12 of Mumbai Metro Rail Project.
The estimated cost of Mumbai Metro's Line 12 (Orange Line) is Rs 5,865 crores.
