Vijayawada is considered to be a sacred place for residing one of the most visited and famous temples of Andhra Pradesh and India, Kanaka Durga Temple of Hindu Goddess Durga.It also serves as the ritual host of Pushkaram (a river worshipping ritual in India) of River Krishna.Vijayawada Metro is proposed light rail transit system in the Indian city of Vijayawda. The system is proposed to reduce traffic congestion in the city and consists three corridors which will construct in 3 Phases. Phase-I covering 24.5 km, phase-ll covering 12.50 Km, phase-lll covering 28 km.
