Lucknow, India (Metro Rail Today): The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) on February 14, 2022 opened the financial bids of two underground civil contract packages - AGCC02 (Agra Metro) and KNPCC-06 (Kanpur Metro).
As per the result announced by UPMRC, the consortium of Afcons Infrastructure Ltd. and SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidders for both packages. Here are the scope of work and financial positions:-
Scope of work: Design and Construction of Tunnel from start of underground ramp (near Fatehabad Road Metro station) to end of ramp after RBS college Metro station including seven underground metro stations (viz. Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Jama Masjid, S.N. Medical college, Agra college, Raja ki Mandi and RBS college) including Architectural finishes, E&M, TVS, ECS etc. on Corridor-1 of Agra Metro Rail Project at Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
UPMRC's Estimate: Rs 2,200 crore
Bidders and Bid Amount:
Tender notice for this package was invited in August 2021 with a 4 year completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in November 2021.
Scope of work: Design and construction of TBM tunnel, cut and cover tunnel, underground ramp from Kanpur Central end of Nayaganj station to elevated ramp after Transport Nagar and three underground metro stations (viz. Kanpur Central, Jhakarkatti and Transport Nagar) including architectural finishes, E and M, TVS, ECS etc. on Corridor-1 of Kanpur Metro Rail Project at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India..
UPMRC's Estimate: Rs 1,250 crore
Bidders and Bid Amount:
Tender notice for this package was invited in June 2021 with a 4 year completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in October 2021.
Now all bids have been sent for evaluation.
