HMRTC to appoint Design Consultant for 28.5 km new Gurugram Metro Rail Corridor

The Gurgaon Metro Rail Project encompasses two main corridors, namely the HUDA City Centre to Cyber City (26.65 km) and the Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway spur (1.85 km). The proposed design work includes the detailed design of the viaduct spanning 24.275 km, excluding stations, and involves all components of the 27 elevated stations, including 2 typical, 18 repetitive, and 7 interchange stations. Furthermore, the scope extends to proof-checking all components of the special span length alignment covering 0.715 km.

The estimated cost of the project stands at ₹17.68 Crores, with a stipulated completion period of 48 months. The tender document, available for purchase from March 16, 2023, until April 17, 2023 (up to 15:00 hrs.) on the E-Tendering website, provides comprehensive information for interested bidders. A site visit is scheduled for March 20, 2024, starting from 10:00 hrs. at Rapid Metro Operation Control Center, Moulsari Avenue Road, DLF Phase III, Near Pillar No. 147, Gurugram (Haryana). A pre-bid conference will follow on March 28, 2024, at 11:30 hrs. The conference will be conducted virtually via software apps such as WebEx/Microsoft Teams, and prospective bidders are required to provide details of participants in advance.

The last date for receiving queries is April 2, 2024, at 17:30 hrs., and HMRTC's responses will be provided by April 5, 2023. Bidders must submit their bids between April 13, 2024, and April 17, 2024, by 15:00 hrs. The opening of technical bids, covering eligibility and technical aspects, is scheduled for April 17, 2024, at 16:00 hrs. The validity of bids extends for 180 days from the bid submission date.
