Gurgaon, India (Metro Rail Today): Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Ltd (HMRTC) has issued tender notice for the selection of Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for 28.5 kilometres proposed metro rail corridor to connect HUDA City Centre to Cyber City in Gurgaon, Haryana.
The scope of work includes provision of Detail Design Consultancy (DDC) services for civil architectural and E&M works of elevated section (28.5 km) having 27 stations (Main Corridor from HUDA City Centre to Cyber City, Gurgaon (26.65 Km) and Spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 Km) of Gurgaon Metro Project and also inclusive of Depot connection.
In November 2022, the HUDA City Centre - Cyber City Metro Link received approval from the Public Investment Board (PIB). This metro route will have 27 elevated stations between Huda City Centre and Cyber City, including a spur to the Dwarka expressway. The estimated cost of project is Rs 6,821.13 crore.
The metro link would start at HUDA City Centre and move towards Sector 45, Cyber Park, district shopping centre, Sector 47, Subhash Chowk, Sector 48, Sector 72 A, Hero Honda Chowk, Udyog Vihar Phase 6, Sector 10, Sector 37, Basai Village, Sector 9, Sector 7, Sector 4, Sector 5, Ashok Vihar, Sector 3, Bajghera Road, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, Sector 23 A, Sector 22, Udyog Vihar Phase 4, Udyog Vihar Phase 5 and finally merge in existing Metro network of Rapid Metro Gurgaon at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City.
