Mumbai, India (Metro Rail Today): The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on 12th June 2023 opened the financial bids for the detailed design consultancy contract package for proposed Mumbai Metro Line 12 connecting Kalyan – Dombivali – Taloja with 17 stations.
As per the financial bids result shared, a consortium consisting of LKT Engineering Consultants Pvt Ltd and Enia Design Pvt Ltd was declared as the lowest bidder to provide detailed design consultancy services for 20.75 km Mumbai Metro Line-12 (Orange Line).
The financial positions of each bidder is as under:-
Tender notice for engagement of Detail Design Consultant DDC for Architectural and Building Services Including E And M Works And Civil Works For Depot, Stations, Staff Quarters, Occ and Auxiliary Structures for Mumbai Metro Line 12( Kalyan-Taloja) was issued in December 2022 with an estimated cost of Rs 11.28 crore and 4 years work completion deadline. Technical bids were opened in March 2023 where a total of six bidders have been participated.
The other two bidders Egis Rail – Egis India JV and MM S.p.A – SMEC JV were disqualified in the technical round hence their price bids were not opened.
The Mumbai Metro Line 12 is an extension of 24.95 km under construction Line 5 (Thane – Bhiwandi – Kalyan).
The 20.75 km Line 12 of Mumbai Metro will have 17 stations at Ganesh Nagar, Pisvali Gaon, Golavali, Dombivli MIDC, Sagaon, Sonarpada, Manpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon, Nilaje Gaon, Vadavali, Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot, Pisarve and Taloja.
