Tripartite agreement signed for ₹6,708 crore Nagpur Metro Phase 2 Project

Nagpur, India (Metro Rail Today):  In a significant development, the foundation stone for the Nagpur Metro Rail Phase 2 project was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 11, 2022. This momentous occasion marked the official commencement of Phase 2 of the Nagpur Metro Rail project. Route Details

1. Automotive Square to Kanhan:
- Length: 13 km
- Stations: Pili Nadi, Khazara Phata, All India Radio, Khairi Phata, Lok Vihar, Lekha Nagar, Cantonment, Kamptee Police Station, Kamptee Nagar Parishad, Dragon Palace, Golf Club and Kanhan River.

2. MIHAN to Butibori IAS:
- Length: 18.7 km
- Stations: Eko Park Station, Metro City Station, Ashokvan, Dongargaon, Mohgaon, Meghdoot Sidhco, Butibori Police Station, Mhada Colony, MIDC KEC and MIDC ESR.

3. Prajapati Nagar to Transport Nagar:
- Length: 5.5 km
- Stations: Paradi, Kapsi Khurd and Transport Nagar.

4. Lokmanya Nagar to Hingna:
- Length: 6.6 km
- Stations: Hingna Mount View, Rajiv Nagar, Wanadongri, APMC, Raypur, Hingna Bus Station and Hingna.
