Dr. Manoj Choudhary to grace the 2nd RailTrans Expo 2024 as Chief Guest

New Delhi, India (Metro Rail Today): The Urban Infra Group has announced that Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of GatiShakti Vishwavidyalaya in Vadodara, will serve as the Chief Guest for the upcoming 4th Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards 2024 and the 2nd RailTrans Expo 2024. These significant events are scheduled for October 15-16, 2024, at the Hyatt Centric, Janakpuri West, New Delhi.

The Urban Infra Group is organizing these events in collaboration with key ministries, government departments, public sector undertakings, and leading industry stakeholders. Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary will deliver a keynote address titled "Viksit Bharat 2047: The Constructive Role of Railways, Transportation, and Urban Infrastructure in Shaping India." His presentation will provide a visionary perspective on how advancements in these sectors can contribute to India’s developmental objectives and the aspiration of a developed nation by 2047.

With an extensive academic background, Prof. Choudhary holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur and a B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from MBM Engineering College in Jodhpur. Currently, he is also a Professor of Electrical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur, bringing valuable insights from both academia and industry to the event. His experience includes significant roles at top technology firms, including Samsung R&D Center, where he led the development of pioneering technologies such as the world's first 5G chip and a 108 Megapixel camera for mobile devices.

In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Prof. Choudhary is actively involved in several national initiatives. He serves on the 5G and 6G Task Force under the Department of Telecom, Government of India, and as Finance Committee Chairman at the Semiconductor Laboratory SCL (Ministry of Electronics & IT). He is also an Independent Director on the board of Jodhpur Discom, part of the Electricity/Energy Department. His contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the University Gold Medal, the Young Achiever Award, and the Patent of the Year Award.
