Kineco bags ₹113 crores order for supply of modular interiors for Vande Bharat Trains

Chennai, India (Metro Rail Today): The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai has awarded a contract worth Rs 113 crores to Kineco Ltd for the supply and installation of modular interiors for Vande Bharat semi-high speed trains.

"We are happy to announce that we have bagged an Rs. 113 Crores order for the supply and installation of modular interiors for Vande Bharat semi-high speed trains (originally called Train 18), from our esteemed customer, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai," said the statement.

Earlier this year, Kineco was also awarded the largest order of 68 Train Fronts of the same Vande Bharat Trains. These orders, together with its already strong order book will catapult Kineco to become one of India’s largest train interior suppliers.

Vande Bharat’ Train is India’s first semi-high speed and is designed & manufactured under the Indian Government's Make in India initiative, by Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Perambur Chennai- the oldest and largest train manufacturing arm of the Indian Railways. This Train offers better energy efficiency and premium passenger comfort and travel experience.
