Mr. Keshav, celebrated for his exemplary leadership in the realm of mass transit systems, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role.
With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Mr. Keshav has been at the forefront of transforming the landscape of urban transportation in India. His remarkable journey began with the Indian Railway Service of Engineers, and he subsequently achieved academic excellence by earning a B.Tech from IIT Roorkee and an M.Tech with a Gold Medal from IIT Kanpur.
Mr. Keshav's indomitable spirit and dedication to his work led him to make significant contributions during his tenure with the Indian Railways and later with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. As the Managing Director of Lucknow Metro, he achieved unprecedented milestones, including the rapid implementation of the metro system in Lucknow and Kanpur, setting world records for speedy project completion.
His visionary approach to metro systems not only as efficient modes of transportation but as vital community connectors has earned him immense respect and recognition.
On July 15, 2022, Mr. Keshav assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Deutsche Bahn RRTS Operations India Private Limited, a German company tasked with operating and maintaining India's first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). This ambitious project, connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut over 82 kilometers with 25 stations and two depots, is set to revolutionize the region's commuter experience.
