2nd Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards 2022 Postponed, Check New Dates Here!

New Delhi, India (Metro Rail Today): The organizing committee and host of the second 2nd Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards 2022 has announced to postpone the event from 9th September 2022 to 7th November 2022.

One of the reasons behind postponing the event is that the organiser Urban Infra Group had received several requests from the industry leaders who want to participate in the event but they are busy in preparation for InnoTrans 2022, one of the mega-industry exhibitions to be hosted this year in Berlin, Germany from September 20-23, 2022.

Based on suggestions received from the Industry, the Urban Infra Group has also made several changes to summit topics so that participants can get maximum benefits and enjoy this amazing event. Now the Urban Infra Business Summit 2022 will broadly discuss the following topics:-

• Transport & Climate Change - Perspectives from India
• India at 75: Progress of Urban Rail & Metro Sectors in India - An Overview
• Implementation of major urban infrastructure projects in India - Challenges & Solutions
• Rolling Stock & Systems: Emerging Business Opportunities in India

The host has also invited willingness from the Industry Leaders to make insightful presentations and speak on the above topics.

"We have received several requests and suggestions from the Industry leaders for extension of dates of the event as they are currently busy in preparation for InnoTrans 2022, Berlin, Germany. The Nodal Ministries are also engaged in various programs & initiatives by Govt. of India under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and are suggesting for new dates. By considering this, we have decided to postpone the event date," said Mamta Shah, Managing Editor & CEO at Urban Infra Group.

Besides this, the last dates for submission of nominations, delegate registrations and winners announcement are also extended. The new dates are as under:

• Last date for submission of nominations for awards: 25th September 2022
• Last date for Delegates registration: 15th October 2022
• Announcement of Winners/Awardees: 2nd October 2022
• Award Ceremony: 7th November 2022

However, the venue and timings of the Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards ceremony will remain the same. 

Under the Urban Infra Business Leadership Awards, a total of '75 Industry leaders' in Corporate, as well as Individuals categories, will be honored at the Award Ceremony.

The event will be organized at India International Centre, 40, Max Muller Marg, New Delhi from 09.15 AM to 04.30 PM (IST). The senior officials from Nodal Ministries such as the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and the Indian Thinktank NITI Aayog have shown their interest to witness the event.
