Chennai, India (Metro Rail Today): The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has opened the technical bids for the telecommunications contract package C4-ASA05/2022 of Corridor 4 of Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase 2 last week.
A total of seven bidders have submitted their bids for providing telecommunications systems for the 26.09 km corridor connecting Light House to Poonamallee Bypass through 30 stations. The bidders name are as under:-
Tender notice for the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Telecommunication System for Corridor 4 of Phase 2 of Chennai Metro Rail Project was issued in in April 2022.
Now all bids have been sent for technical evaluation. Once the evaluation completed, CMRL will open the financial bids to reveal the name of lowest bidder.
CMRL has also finalising the contract for other systems like Electrification, Rolling Stock and E&M. Most of civil contracts are already awarded and the construction work is going at full swing.
The under construction 26.09 km Corridor 4 of Chennai Metro's Phase 2 will connect through 28 at Light House, Kutchery Road, Thirumayilai Metro, Alwarpet, Bharathidasan Road, Adyar Gate Junction, Nandanam, Panagal Park, Kodambakkam Sub Urban, Meenakshi College, Power House, Vadapalani, Saligramam, Avichi School, Alwarthirunagar, Valasaravakkam, Karambakkam, Alapakkam, Porur Junction, Chennai Bypass Crossing, Ramachandra Hospital, Iyyapanthangal Bus Depot, Kattupakkam, Kumananchavadi, Karayanchavadi, Mullai Thottam, Poonamalle bus terminus, Poonamallee Bypass, and Poonamallee Bus Depot.
