GMRL announces job vacancies for various positions for Gurugram Metro Rail Project

Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Haryana, has announced a recruitment drive for various positions on a deputation or immediate absorption basis. This presents a significant opportunity for experienced and motivated officers and staff currently working with Railways, Railway CPSUs, Metro Companies, or PSUs. 

GMRL, incorporated on February 27, 2024, is tasked with implementing Mass Rapid Transport Projects in Haryana, with the current project located in Gurugram city.

The vacancies span multiple departments, including Finance and Civil Engineering. Key positions open for application include:

  • GM / JGM Finance: Seeking Chartered Accountants / ICWA with a minimum of 18 years of experience in government organizations, including at least 5 years in Metro Projects for GM, or 14 years of experience with at least 2 years in Metro Projects for JGM.
     
  • DGM Finance: Requires a Chartered Accountant / ICWA with a minimum of 9 years of experience in government organizations, with at least 2 years in Metro Projects.
     
  • Manager Finance: Candidates should be a Chartered Accountant / ICWA with a minimum of 7 years of experience in government organizations, including at least 2 years in Metro Projects.
     
  • Assistant Manager Finance: Open to Chartered Accountants / ICWA with a minimum of 4 years of experience in government organizations, with at least 1 year in Metro Projects.
     
  • Company Secretary: Applicants must be a Fellow/Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience as a Company Secretary, including at least 3 years in a private/public company with a paid-up share capital of Rs. 20 Crores or more. Preference will be given to candidates with an LLB Degree.
     
  • Sr. DGM (Civil): This role requires a B.E./B. Tech (Civil) with a minimum of 60% marks and 11 to 13 years of post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering works at Gazetted/Executive level. A minimum of 3 years of this experience should be in the construction of elevated viaducts/bridges in Metro/Railway projects, with at least 2 years in tendering. 

The maximum age limit for these positions varies by post, with GM/JGM Finance up to 57/52 years, DGM Finance up to 45 years, Manager Finance up to 42 years, Assistant Manager Finance up to 35 years, Company Secretary up to 45 years, and Sr. DGM (Civil) up to 48 years. Experience and age will be calculated as of May 1, 2025.

The selection process involves shortlisting suitable candidates based on their eligibility and experience, followed by an interview.
