Hyderabad Metro celebrates Fifth Anniversary of Metro Operations

Hyderabad, India (Metro Rail Today): L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) and Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) celebrated the 5th Anniversary of the commencement of Operations & Maintenance of Hyderabad Metro Rail with the traditional Folk Dance of Telangana and Classical musical performance at Ameerpet Metro Station, today. The Chief Guest Sri NVS Reddy, MD, HMRL and the Guest of Honour KVB Reddy, MD & CEO, L&TMRHL lighted the auspicious lamp on this occasion in presence of metro commuters and officials from L&TMRHL, HMRL, Keolis, PhonePe, and other dignitaries.

Marking this occasion, NVS Reddy, MD, HMRL and KVB Reddy, MD & CEO, L&TMRHL felicitated 15 commuters with gift vouchers for being among the top frequent loyal travellers. PhonePe recognised another set of 10 commuters giving away gift vouchers under their customer loyalty programme. In collaboration with Tatvaa Arts, HMR engaged with metro commuters in this celebration by hosting a high-decibel Telangana Folk Dance of Oggu Katha and Classical music rendition with a fusion of Sitar, Sarod and Tabla by the KK Sisters, under the aegis of ‘Metro Medley’ - Hyderabad Metro Rail’s signature programme dedicated to promoting Art & Culture.
