Agra, India (Metro Rail Today): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) opened the financial bids of contract package DE-04 of Phase 4 of Delhi Metro Rail Project on March 8, 2022. As per the bid result shared by DMRC, KEC International Ltd emerged as the lowest bidder among other three bidders.
The scope of work includes Design, Detail Engineering, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Receiving and Auxiliary Main Substation (RAMS) including High Voltage Cabling from Grid Substation for Phase 4 of Delhi Metro Rail Project.
Acccording to Phase 4 plan, DMRC will built four new receiving sub-stations at Madhuban Chowk, RK Ashram, Sangam Vihar and Vasant Kunj, while existing substations (Mukundpur, Indraprastha and Rithala) will be augmented.
The financial positions of each bidder is as under:-
Tender notice for the above work was issued in June 2021 with an estimated cost of work is Rs 297.90 crore and 3 years (36 months) deadline. Technical bids were opened in November 2021. This contract package will be funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
All bids have been sent for proper evaluation and completion of further tendering proces to finalise the contract as per the terms & conditions of tender notice. We hope this contract will be finalse soon as KEC has quoted below amount to DMRC's estimate.
