The contract covers the Secunderabad – Kachiguda – Shadnagar – Gollapalli section and includes end-to-end delivery of onboard and trackside systems, making it one of the most comprehensive safety deployments under the KAVACH 4.0 initiative.
Under this order, Lotus Wireless will handle:
Onboard KAVACH installation in locomotives
Trackside safety systems at stations and level crossings
System integration, testing, and commissioning
Associated civil and telecom works where needed
The implementation forms part of the Indian Railways’ broader strategy to roll out KAVACH across 15,000 km of high-density routes, as confirmed by the Ministry of Railways in The Hindu.
