Ahmedabad, India (Metro Rail Today): The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) today notified tender for the construction of 7.5 km elevated vaiduct and stations for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase 2.
Scope of Work:
Construction of 7.553 kms elevated viaduct and 7 nos. of stations including E&M, Architectural Finishing, Roofing, Plumbing, Signage, etc. from Sector-1 to Mahatma Mandir chanage 31945.443m to 39498.302m, Package C3 in connection with Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, Phase-2.

GMRC will expand a total metro network of 28.254 km under Phase 2 of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project. The North-South Corridor (Line-2) will be extended 22.838 km from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir and add 20 more metro stations in Ahmedabad Metro Rail network. A seprate line of 5.416 km length will be spured from GNLU to GIFT City.
