Chennai, India (Metro Rail Today): Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) issued an e-tender notice for Telecommunication System for Corridor 4 (Poonamallee Bypass - Lighthouse) of Chennai Metro Rail Project, Phase 2
The scope of work includes Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Telecommunication System for CMRL Phase II – Corridor 4.
The estimated cost of work is not disclosed by the CMRL. The work is expected to complete in 1450 days (plus a 730-day defect liability period). Tender documents can be downloaded from Chennai Metro Rail Limited's official website or eprocurement portal from 7th April 2022 to 6th July 2022 (up to 13.00hrs) on payment of Rs 40,000/- against the document fee.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 23rd May 2022 at 11.00hrs (IST) at Chennai Metro Rail Limited, Admin Building, CMRL Depot, Poonamallee High Road, Koyambedu, Chennai 600107, Tamilnadu.
The last date for submission of technical as well as financial bids is 6th July 2022 till 13.00hrs (IST). The technical bids will be opened on 7th July 2022 at 15.00hrs (IST).
This package will be financed by the New Development Bank (NDB) through an ODA loan of US$346.72 million signed with Govt. of India.
The 26.1 km long Corridor 4 of Chennai Metro will connect Poonamallee Bypass to Lighthouse with 30 stations.
