While we've all experienced dining in restaurants themed around buses, trains, ships, and airplanes, now it's time to embark on a culinary journey inspired by a metro train. Yes, you heard it right. According to reports, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (NMRC) has ingeniously transformed a metro rail coach into a vibrant restaurant, offering patrons a quirky fine dining experience amidst an ambiance reminiscent of a stationary metro train coach.

Named "The Coach, Culinary Express, and Bar," this one-of-a-kind restaurant is located within the Noida Sector 137 metro station on the Aqua line. It stands as a pioneering initiative by the NMRC, captivating the attention of curious food enthusiasts. Several videos showcasing the ambiance of this innovative restaurant have been circulating on social media platforms, piquing the interest of netizens.

The primary aim behind the establishment of this restaurant is to provide passengers with an unconventional fine dining experience, immersing them in the nostalgic charm of a stationary metro train coach. As for the menu, The Coach offers a diverse range of cuisines, complemented by a carefully curated cocktail selection. Moreover, it prides itself on being both child-friendly and budget-friendly. According to a post by the Instagram handle "Noidagram," patrons can relish delectable Kashmiri kebabs among other culinary delights.

Reports suggest that the restaurant is currently operational on a trial basis, with a soft launch conducted by the NRMC. However, it is slated for an official inauguration on April 20, 2024. Post-inauguration, visitors can indulge in the unique dining experience from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. daily. It's worth noting that NMRC has awarded a nine-year contract to an agency entrusted with overseeing the restaurant's operations and management within the metro network. This initiative builds upon NMRC's track record of establishing small kiosks at metro stations and leasing commercial spaces to private companies for business purposes.
