Gurugram, India (Metro Rail Today): The Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Ltd (HMRTC) has opened technical bids for the selection of Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for 28.5 kilometres proposed metro rail corridor connecting HUDA City Centre to Cyber City in Gurugram, Haryana.
A total of three engineering firms have submitted bids for the contract package GGNCCDD-15(R1) to provide detailed design consultancy services to HMRTC for Gurgaon Metro's HUDA City Centre - Cyber City Metro Corridor. The name of bidders are as under:-

Tender notice for enagagement of Detail Design Consultant (DDC) for Civil Architectural and E&M works of Elevated Section 28.5 km having 27 Stations Main Corridor from HUDA City Centre to Cyber City Gurgaon of Gurgaon Metro Rail Project (inclusive of Depot connection) was issued in March 2023. The estimated cost of work is Rs 17.68 crore and the work completion period is 48 months from the date of issuance of letter of acceptance to the contractor.
This elevated 28.5 kilometres HUDA City Centre - Cyber City Metro Corridor will form a ring line through Gurugram and Old Gurugram via 27 stations. The revised DPR (detailed project report) of the project was approved by Haryana Government’s cabinet in August 2020 at an estimated cost of Rs 6,821.13 crore.
This corridor will also have interchange connectivity with Delhi Metro's Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli - HUDA City Centre) and NCRTC's Delhi-Meerut RapidX RRTS Corridor at HUDA City Centre and Udyog Vihar respectively. A 1.85 km spur will be built from Basai Village towards the under construction Dwarka Expressway.
