New Delhi, India (Metro Rail Today): An officer of 1986-batch IRSEE (Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineers) and present General Manager of Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, Shri Naveen Gulati has been appointed as Member (Traction & Rolling Stock), Railway Board and Ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India by Ministry of Railways.
"The President is pleased to approve of appointment of Shri Naveen Gulati, General Manager, Integral Caoch Factory, Chennai, as Member (Traction & Rolling Stock), Railway Board and Ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India in Pay Level-17 of IRMS," said the order issued by Railway Board, Ministry of Railways on 17th December 2022.
Prior to this, Gulati was the Additional General Manager of the Northern Railway. Gulati had worked in various capacities in the Railways including Divisional Railway Manager, Chennai.
He has extensive experience in designing and production of railway coaches. He was associated with the project for redevelopment of New Delhi Railway Station as World Class facility. While posted at CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems), he was instrumental in setting-up the Data Centre. An IT enthusiast, he has contributed to creation of several IT applications for Indian Railways.
Naveen Gulati, B. Tech. (Electrical) is a Gold Medalist from IIT BHU.
