Chennai, India (Metro Rail Today): Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has recently opened the financial bids for the system contract package SYS/C4-DM100/2022 which was floated for the procurement of Machinery & Plants (M&P) for the under construction metro car shed at Poonamallee for Corridor-4 of Chennai Metro Rail Project, Phase 2.
As per the financial bid result, Delhi-based firm Swastik Overseas emerged as the lowest bidder by beating three other bidders. The financial position of each bidder is as under:-
Tender for Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Machinery and Plant at Poonamallee Depot and Training of Personnel on turnkey basis was floated in April 2022 with the work completion period of 600 + 730 (DNP) days. Technical bids were opened on 3rd August 2022. A total of four bidders had submiited their bids.
Now all bids have been sent for final evaluation by tender committee.
This contract package will be financed by New Development Bank (NDB).
Swastik Overseas is a supplier of various types of machinery & plants for Indian Railways, Metro Rail, Industrial Sector etc. The firm also provides installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance services for Plants & Machinery (M&P).
