Kochi, India (Metro Rail Today): The Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) opened the financial bids for the tender invited for the selection of Detail Design Consultant (DDC) for electrification systems of Kochi Metro Phase 2 on 9th May 2023.
As per the financial bid result, SYSTRA MVA Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidder. The financial position of each bidder is as under:-
Tender for engagement of Detail Design Consultant (DDC) for Power Supply and distribution system, 750 V DC Third Rail Traction Electrification and SCADA System for Kochi Metro Phase-2 Project in January 2023 with an estimated work completion deadline of 1080 days. Technical bids were opened on 12th April 2023.
The 11.2 km long Phase 2 Corridor (Pink Line) will connect Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium to Infopark 2 with 11 elevated stations at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Palarivattom Junction, Palarivattom Bypass, Chembumukku, Vazhakkala, Padamughal, Kakkanad Junction, Cochin SEZ (Special Economic Zone), Chittethukara, KINFRA, Infopark 1 / Smart City 1, and Infopark 2 / Smart City 2.
