Chennai, India (Metro Rail Today): The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has awarded a contract (Package CP28A-OCC) worth Rs 65.80 crore to URC Construction Pvt. Ltd. for the construction of Operation Control Centre (OCC) at Madhavaram Depot under Phase 2 of Chennai Metro Rail Project.
In this regard, an agreement has been signed between Chenani Metro Rail Ltd and URC Construction Pvt. Ltd. on 20th July 2023 at CMRL Headquarters. The agreement was signed by T. Livingstone Eliazer, Chief General Manager (PP&D) for CMRL and P. Ramprasath — President Projects, for URC Construction Pvt
Ltd in the presence of T. Archunan, Director (Projects).
The letter of acceptance (LOA) issued to URC Construction Pvt Ltd for Tender No. CMRL/CON/PHASE-II/CORR-5/CP28A-0CC/2023 on 08/06/2023 for a value Rs 65.80 Crore. The scope of work involves Design and Construction of Operation Control Centre (OCC) at Madhavaram Depot including Civil, Architecture, MEP, VAC and all associated works.
