New Delhi, India (Metro Rail Today): The National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) invites bids for construction of 135.45 km double railway track for Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project under Package C3 (Shilphata – Zaroli) in Maharashtra.
The scope of work includes the Design and Construction of Civil and Building Works including Testing and Commissioning on Design Build Lump Sum Price Basis for Double Line High Speed Railway involving Viaducts & Bridges (excluding fabrication and transportation of steel truss girder components), Maintenance Depot, Tunnels, Earth Structures and Stations (Thane, Virar and Boisar), between Shilphata in the State of Maharashtra and Zaroli at Maharashtra-Gujarat border from MAHSR Km 21.150 to MAHSR Km 156.600 [excluding Thane Depot] for the Project for Construction of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor.
The tender notice was issued on 15th November 2022 till 03.00 PM and the bid submission end date is 14th March 2023. Technical Bid will be opened online on next day i.e. 15th March 2023 at 03:00 PM. A Pre-bid meeting is to be held on 20th December 2022 at 11:00 AM through Video Conference (VC).
This is last major civil tender of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project.
Acording to recent updates shared by NHSRCL, construction/erection of piers has been completed on 100 km routes of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor.

The 508 km Mumbai - Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor will connect Ahmedabad to Mumbai with 12 stations.
