Bengaluru, India (Metro Rail Today): The Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Limited (K-RIDE) has issued global tender notice for the construction of 12 stations of Corridor 2 (Mallige Line) for Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project in Benagluru, Karnataka.
The scope of work includes Design and Construction of Twelve (12) stations i.e two Elevated, two Elevated Interchange and eight At-Grade BSRP Stations of Corridor-2 at Benniganahalli, Kasturi Nagar, Seva Nagar, Banaswadi, Nagawara, Kanaka Nagar, Hebbal, Mathikere, Yeshwanthpur, Shettyhalli, Mydarahalli and Chikkabanavara, including Steel FOB, roof structures, PEB works for stations with all associated works for Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) including Detailed Design and Engineering for Architectural finishes and E&M Works, but excluding construction of Architectural finishes and E&M Works.
This tender is part of 24.866 kilometres Mallige Line (Corridor 2) of 149.348 km Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project conencting Baiyyappanahalli Terminal to Chikkabanavara with 14 stations. Out of 6 stations will be elevated and remaining eight stations will be at the grade.
The Bengaluru Suburban Rail will span a total network of 148.17 km with 57 stations planned across four corridors in six directions of Bengaluru, which includes Kengeri (Mysuru side), Chikkabanavara (Tumakuru side), Rajanukunte (Doddaballapura side), Devanahalli (Kolar side), Whitefield (Bangarapet side), and Heelalige. The estomated project cost of this project is Rs 15,767 crore.
